Help Us Preserve History

In Edenberga, the old fire station from 1929 still stands. Where volunteer firefighters once gathered when the alarm was raised, we now work to preserve the building, the museum, historic fire engines, equipment, photographs and stories for future generations.

This work requires time, commitment and resources.

By sponsoring the Edenberga Volunteer Fire Brigade, your company helps us preserve a unique part of our local firefighting heritage – while demonstrating your support for cultural heritage and voluntary community work.

Your Support Makes a Difference

The Edenberga Volunteer Fire Brigade is a small non-profit association, and we depend on our members, volunteers and companies that are willing to support our work.

There is no fixed amount required to become a sponsor. Your company decides how you would like to contribute and to what extent.

Sponsorship can take the form of financial support, but we also gratefully welcome contributions in the form of goods, materials, services, expertise or other resources that can benefit our work.

All companies are welcome to become sponsors – large or small, local businesses as well as companies from other parts of the country.

What Does Your Sponsorship Support?

Your contribution helps us with the operation and maintenance of our protected historic fire station from 1929, the preservation of the museum’s collections, the maintenance and restoration of historic vehicles and firefighting equipment, the development of exhibitions, and our historical research and documentation.

Your support also helps us take part in local markets, village days and other events where we can present our work and share the history of local firefighting with a wider audience.

We prefer sponsorship to support the association’s activities as a whole, as this allows us to use the contribution where it is needed most.

However, if your company would like to support a particular project or purpose, you are of course welcome to contact us to discuss the possibilities.

As a Sponsor, Your Company Will Be Seen

We believe that the companies supporting our work deserve clear recognition for their contribution.

As a sponsor, your company’s logo will be prominently displayed on our websiteas part of a rotating banner featuring our sponsors.

Your company will also be presented on our links page with a clickable logo linking directly to your company’s website.

Your logo will also appear on our sponsor board at the fire station, as well as on the portable sponsor board that we take with us when the association attends markets, village days and other events.

In this way, your company not only helps us preserve our history – you also demonstrate to our visitors and everyone we meet that your business supports cultural heritage and voluntary community work.

Sponsorship Does Not Have to Mean Money

A valuable contribution does not always have to be financial.

For a small non-profit association, materials, products, professional expertise and services can be just as valuable.

This could include building and maintenance materials, painting, carpentry, printing, signage, transportation, vehicle parts, mechanical work or other products and services that help us care for the fire station, our vehicles and the museum’s collections.

The Edenberga Volunteer Fire Brigade was founded in 1914 thanks to people who recognised a need and chose to work together.

More than a century later, the future of the association is still built on the same idea – that by working together, many people can achieve something lasting.

Sponsorship is valid for one calendar year and is renewed annually. Since every company has different opportunities and circumstances, you decide how you would like to contribute.
